Grateful for Things to Help Make a Home!

My College Station shower was this past weekend ~ our very first shower! Sweet friends gave the shower for me & it was alot of fun! People were very generous & we have the first few things to make our apartment function more like a home!

A few of our new faves:

~ Kitchen Aid Mixer ~ It's gorgeous! Can't wait for Jon to make cookies!

~ Fancy glasses to go with our china & all the necessities for a candlelight dinner :)

~ Our Utensil Pot ~ Whoohoo! No more drawer fulla junk!

~ Pillow & Pillow cases ~ It makes us exited for the rest of our bedding!

~ Tiny Bowls that match our dishes ~ We LOVE our dishes & can't wait to have & be able to use them all!

Just 30 More Days!

Its hard to believe we have gone from more than a hundred and fifty days, and we are now down to just thirty! So much has happened since we got engaged last November ~ I am so thankful & grateful for the swift progress we have made on the wedding planning.

We are thrilled the time is almost here! Life is changing ~ Alot. Grateful for the changes ~ excited for them too.

Speaking of ~ The apartment is starting to look more like a place for two! We have bookshelves filled with both of our books. Gifts from our first shower awaiting their place in our new home! So exciting! I can't wait to move completely in & be settled! I'll add pictures later :)
